It's funny you should mention that about the "sexually oriented"
stores.
I actually did go into one a few times to practice on this one girl
that worked there. She was a 8 1/2.
Here's her picture... (SHE'S ON THE RIGHT)

If you do go into those stores, you need to have at least some
game that you can throw out at the girl behind the counter
(if she looks good).
Here's what worked for me: (short version)
Walked in and said, "Hi. Do you have anything that will fit a girl that is
a size ... ummm ... well, she's actually your size."
"Got anything in your size?"
HER: "Let's see..." (walked around a bit and found something, SHE
would wear around)
HER: "Here, what do you think about this?"
ME: "Oh, I like that one ... and I know she'll like it too."
(We walked back up to the counter)
HER: "That'll be (price here)." (Paid for it)
ME: "OK. Pick you up at 9 for our date." (not a question)
HER: "(shocked) What? Who said we were going out on a date?"
ME: "Well, we already shopped together for you some sexy lingerie...
did you think this was for... my girlfriend?"
HER: "Well, yeah!"
ME: "It is. That's why I'm gonna give it to her after our date tonight."
HER: "I'll be ready. Don't be late."
ME: "If I'm late... then I found someone more interesting to go out with."
HER: (some playful banter... don't really remember what it was)
Then ... blah blah blah ... and we went out, had a great time, went back
to her place, had the one thing a lot of you out there want ...
