I got a number close on the streetcar today! There was a delay. Some old man was sick and they had to call paramedics to the station. While I was waiting I used the time to talk to this blond in line. We got to chatting. I made a few jokes she laughed and got really red in the face. So I took it as a huge IOI. I led the conversation into what I do(Electrician) and got her to talk about her job. As soon as I asked she started just unloading. I couldn't get a word in. Finally things were running and she sat beside me on the streetcar still telling me about her job. I had to interrupt her because my stop was coming up. So I ask for the number(real casual) She gave it to me and I said we should go for a drink sometime. She sounded like she'd go. But when do I call?

just don't call multiple times.



my general system is call, and IF no answer, send a text instead of leaving a message right after. then carry on with life.

So like tomorrow? Waiting a day is okay right? Or is that too needy?

Just call her the next time you genuinely feel you want to. There is no real rule for when to call. If you feel comfortable waiting a day, then do it. Personally, I wouldn't wait like a whole week or anything as you may fade away into just some guy she was talking to. It seems like you had a connection, so I'd say call her in a day or so when you feel like meeting up with her.

I used to use the 3 second rule and its not very good. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't (actually quite alot of the time it doesn't)

Call when you feel like it
OR
Judge the situation and how the interaction went and make a decision (each one is different and you need to get an intuition for it) EG did you play it hard the first time, if so you might like to wait 3-4 days etc etc. JUDGE BY SITUATION NOT BY RULE.

Judge each situation differently and call when you want to call. Get an intuition to how recpetive she would be and whether it would amp her attraction up or decrease it.
