However, I am wondering if it can be taken too far? For some reason, I was on a cocky roll a few nights ago and the HB I isolated stated several times, "Your so cocky!" I tried to tone it down a bit but couldn't even help myself at that point. I was being very cocky but still maintained the humour and fun the whole time.
I'm wondering if maybe she couldn't detect the sarcasm in my cockiness, or if she actually was enjoying it and I missed a good close.
Has anyone else had a HB call them on their cockiness? How did you deal with that?

I have however gotten that reply when my cockiness has gone over to bragging instead of playful teasing. However, it depends a lot on how they say: "You're so cocky!". If they have a frustrated voice I would ignore the statement and overplay the statement. For example answering with: "I am God you know." Followed by a playful: "Nah, just joking".
If they keep a friendly tone however I would play it off by stating a believed interest from her. For example: Indeed, imagine how glad you would be to be like me;)".
This should be done with a friendly voice though, negativity seldom get you anywhere.

If she showing signs of wanting out, more than likely you are being too cocky. If a girl is telling you you are being cocky, more than likely it is a compliment. But read her body language when she says it to make sure.
