I apologize if this has already been asked, but I was unable to find it. I approached this girl and her friend came over in the middle of it and they both seemed interested in me and I had to get both of their numbers to not be an a**hole. So what do I do?? It seems like if I go after the target, the friend will get upset and they'll be a crashed set. How can I make it so the target's friend just likes me as a friend?

If they're good friends then the target already knows that her friend likes you, and you have no chance of getting in there while her friend likes you.
So just leave it for a while, maybe 3-4 weeks and then get back in touch again - just make sure that you've left a lasting impression on your target so that she wont think "who the fuck is this guy?!" when you call/text her.
