Also I was at a picnic today and an hb7 walked up, I didnt even make eye contact I just tried starting a convo. with the dude across the picnic table from me. Problem was the guy was more interested in talking to the girl than talking to me (not that i can blame him) He had asked about the beer I was drinking and I tried to to parlay it to a convo. The hb7 was stroking her hair and kept looking at me and looking away(I could see out of the corner of my eye). I obviously didnt close but it was a decent first day of game. I guess im just looking for a little critique.

You'll get to feel when enough is enough.
Negs and normal convo should go hand in hand, timed appropiately.

Good try but you DLV when you tried to get his attention. I think your approach and opener were the real sticking point on that situation.
Just brush up on them in the other sections and you'll do fine next MF set.
