So the other night my roommate and I had a party at our place for the Steelers-Ravens football game. Well his girlfriend brought over a very attractive friend. So throughout the night I talked to her and I felt as if we had a connection. She gave me IOI's such has frequent eye contact even when we were across the room, laughing at my stories, touch, was frequently smiling to me, and said she def wanted to come over and hang out with all of us. So she obviously had a great time at my place. However I do not have her number and have no way of getting in contact with her except for my friend and his gf.

So I was talking to my friends gf and said we should go on a double date in which she replied she has a bf.

My goal with her would be to go on a date with her so my questions are:
1) How can I get in contact with her and hang out more often with her?
2) I do not believe it is a wasteful cause, but what is your opinion?
3) Any advice to my situation in general?

I think you might've burned yourself a little by using the word 'date'.

YOU shouldn't make the request to your friend's girlfriend that she bring her friend next time. That's not to say that you can't ask your buddy to ask her, but make sure he does so casually.

Why didn't you get the target's number, or better yet, go for a k-close once you isolated?

Next time you see her, don't bring up the bf. Also watch yourself around her friend or you'll end up getting AMOG'ed again. I'd put some effort into making friends with her friend. Your goal here should be to demonstrate a higher value than your target's bf. Her friend might even change her mind and HELP YOU.

Do NOT talk about her friend with her. You need to DHV. Better yet, have your friend tell his girl how great of a guy you are. You need to tell him about this. However, if he's friends with your target's bf, you're SOL.

Use the phonebook, reverse lookup or any search tools to find out where she lives.
Attach a Mobil magnetic GPS to the bottom of her car
Do a few searches a day to find out where the car is parked, wait for when she's at a public place such as a church, grocery store or hair salon etc.
Go to that location for some made up reason, be reasonable.
Accidentally cross paths, it's good to plant yourself in a location you think she will be in,
"oh hey! what are you doing here?"
"getting my haircut you?"
"my mom asked me to pick her up some hair spray"
