Whats happened is you haven't sexually escalated. What you've done is gain rapport. That's great, but it's only half of the things you need to do. Because you haven't turned things sexual in any way (misinterpretation) or Kino'd (I would guess) you've not conveyed that you're interested in her. When you did mention the "date" thing. Its completely out of the character you've shown her during you time together. Hence her confusion and inevitable shut down of any feelings.

Sadly, I think this one is blown for the foreseeable future. By all means add her on Facebook, keep in contact. But don't become NEEDY or CLINGY. Go out meet new people, don't bug her. Let her see you as a sociable guy with other people in your life.

For future reference. Girls, even sexually inexperienced ones are not adverse to Kino. It's a non-verbal IOI from yourself. So don't be afraid to touch her during conversation (Lightly, don't look where your touching, touch on her forearms not her shoulders etc etc) It works because can you imagine how weird it would be of hte 1st time you touched her was when you were kissing, or when you were in Bed!
