whats the deal with openers, negs, routines etc. ive had a realisation that if we shouldnt use techniques to be good with women, and we shouldnt let the techniques become part of our natural game either. i think we should all learn natural approaches. like johnny soporno, sean messenger etc. if we all use routines and openers, they quickly become old hat as the community grows. i think for people just starting these things are a good resource, but to be totally honest the guys who are still using them after years in the game are just wrong. fooling a woman into bed with a load of memorised lines isnt particularly my bag. why isnt more focus put onto inner game? its a much discussed topic that is rarely acted upon. well here is my question. what can i do to up my inner game. i basically have none at all. i wont go emo on you with a list of stuff thats wrong with me, but i think inner game should be a focal point for this forum and the game. with inner game your not predictable and your not using anyone elses stuff cos its all you. what can i do to boost my inner game?

I'm impressed Shred. You're making some really awesome realisations lately from what I've read and you're definitely headed in the right direction, just like Hobbit said.

Learning from guys like Johnny and Sean is a great way to keep learning how to be a naturally attractive man, rather than one of these social robots you always hear about (that's exactly what you described with the guy that tricks women into bed using memorized lines) something Johnny calls a PUTZs (Pick Up Technique Zealots). Also look into Adam Lyons, cause from what I hear he is all natural too. I'd also suggest checking out stuff that JSmooth, Hobbit and myself have posted here on the forum.

We all need to learn how to ride a bike on our very own, but first we need to practice with training wheels.

i don wanna be using training wheels when im 5 years into this. guys like mystery, tyler durden etc. use the same stuff on every girl. its essnetially trickery. i wanna pull a girl by being me and having her like me for who i am. not what i memorise. the saddest thin about most of these guys are that they memorise it and let it become part of them. if thats what id have to do to have success with women then i wouldnt want any part of this. and if anyone has adam lyons book, then id love to have a look. i dont want to shell out twenty quid for 38 pages, even if it is gold. if you rely on canned material for everything then youre kinda pathetic. look at david deangelo. he has the perfect mix for people who are kinda into this stuff already. its only about 20% canned stuff and the rest of it is down ot the persons inner game. i wanna be at 100% natural. guys who use canned material for upwards of 50% of the time are kinda sad. and fraudsters...

Hey Shred. I'm glad to see this attitude from you so early into your journey. You're gonna be good, and I know this because I thought exactly the same way back when I started using MM. You've realised something that not a lot of guys want to acknowledge. If you haven't already seen it, I'd recommend checking out my latest article on natural game. It relies heavily on inner game, and the best advice I can give you when it comes to that is to just get your arse out there and do it. Confidence comes from experience, and the key to having unbreakable frame is the simple combination of 2 things - not giving a shit what other people think and say, and thinking positively nomatter what. When you realise that anything negative is her problem and not yours, you're sound... this stuff taks a while to really internalise though, so keep at it.

This is a wicked step, as for inner game Im gonna have to recommend my favorite inner game book again http://www.amazon.com/Shambhala-Sacred- ... 0877732647 this book will change your entire view on the world, I hope everyone who reads this buys the book or at least goes to a bookshop and skims through the first few chapters.

As for canned lines use them as life lines, if you hit a wall in conversation drop a line but only lines that sound like things you would say anyway.

well, to me, whats important is that you get the atittude, mindset of what is passed, if you do, you end up making your owns on ocasion and etc... if you rely on canned ones sure you're not much getting it, sure

If someone's been studying bikes and how they're constructed and how the move, etc. etc., without actually riding the bikes for 5 years, they still need to use training wheels.

If I remember correctly, in another thread you said that you've been studying pickup and know everything but have been too anxious to actually approach girls and use any material.
