A quick fieldreport: I went for a drink with a girl last night (HB 7) wich I #-closed a long time ago. I was trying cocky/funny all night and acted really arrogant. I really enjoyed myself! I'm pretty arrogant by nature, but never acted that way around girls cause I taught it was a turn off, since 'the game' I know better. Examples of the cocky remarks: We were talking about the sports I train in (mma, bjj and submission grappling) and she said: "When you end up in the hospital, I'm not going to visit you." I said: "Offcourse you're going to visit me when I end up in the hospital, because you think I'm awesome. I'm not blind." She said: "Yeah, you're right, I would visit you." We sat there untill 2 a.m., but she had to work today and had to get up at 7 a.m., so at one point she said: "I'm still sitting here with you at this hour, that shows I really care for you, otherwise I would've gone to be already." I said: "We both know I'm well worth it." At one point we left and we stood at her car, we were still talking and she was taking really long to ge in her car. I'm pretty sure I could've kissed her, but I acted like a coward and never really tried it, even though I got enough IOI's. After I got home I sent her a text message to test her reaction, I sent: " Next time when we go get a drink, don't try to get me to kiss you as hard as you did last night. It was pretty obvious." She sent a message back immediatly (even though it was 3.30 a.m. and she had to get up in a couple of hours). She sent: "I'll stop making it that obvious, if you stop...(she made an inside joke, wich sounds really lame if you weren't there, so I'm not even gonna type it). The thing is she didn't even deny that that she was trying to get me to kiss her. I only hope I didn't overdo the cockiness or something. I'm pretty sure she wants me now. It worked great!

Yeah I tried doing cocky-funny recently with great success. Got IOIs left-right and centre. Like you I wussed out at the last minute I'm also a natural smartass but never thought to used it with women.

Being the first time I did it I went overboard a few times and it got uncomfortable, but I refused to become supplicative and apologetic and was able to recover. The most shocking discovey I made was that it seems better to err on the side of arrogance.
