What exactly is the policy about embedding objects on this forum? I could think of a few html apps that would work great in some posts. Since youtube videos work, I assume other flash applications work as well so just let me know what you think about this.

We don't really have a policy about that. As long as it works on the forum, isn't offensive, is relevant and isn't copyrighted, then it shouldn't be an issue.
