Is this book any good?

If not, whats best to read after 'The Game'?
I'm new to all this PUA, but picking up some great tips and advice off here.

Or forget books and just read peoples experiences on here?

I, and from what i gather most people on this forum read The Venusian arts handbook after the Game

The Attraction Code is great when you know what pick up is and a bit on how it works.

After reading The Game, I'd advice you to read for instance Double Your Dating (David DeAngelo) and How to be a Pick-up Artist (Juggler)

Agreed. The attraction code IS a very good book, its one of 3 books i have read.
However, i personally beleive it is intended for someone who already knows how things work. Dont get me wrong, a beginer could pick it up and learn a lot, but you would have to re-read it.

Now, Also agreeing with NightFox, double your dating is in my opinion the best book for you next. The game is more a story than an guide. Double your dating will introduce you to some new theorys, re-cover the general ideas and all in all improve your ideas on the game.

To summerise,
Read Double your Dating - go out, game game game game game (i would suggest a minimum of a month). Then read The Attraction Code. Game for another month. Re-read both. Game for another 2 weeks. Stay active on here, post ur expereience and ask for help.

I agree with what the other guys have said.

The Attraction Code is a GREAT book, probably the best book out there for "natural" game. Vin DiCarlo is a genius!

But it's true that you should read a few more basic books before getting it.

My path was pretty simple.

1. Read The Mystery Method (or the Venusian Arts Handbook ,they are basically the same) to get a basic understanding of the game and its structure.

Now sarge as much as you can.

2. Read one of the "standard" PUA books. Double Your Dating is good if you're a total chump, but I prefer Mehow's Get the Girl (he builds off of Mystery Method so it's smooth sailing). Mehow explains Mystery's method WAY more in depth and improves on it substantially. Also read Juggler method and Swinggcat's REAL WORLD SEDUCTION, this is the BEST book for your inner game.

Sarge again. Lots of times.

3. Get Ross Jeffries' "unstoppable confidence" tapes and a few other videos like his LA 99 seminar (frame control) and the "gold walkups" DVD. Don't get his home study course, it is way too expensive and a bit dated. Jeffries also helps with inner game, but mainly teaches you to not be afraid of sexual language. Plus, sign up for some free PUA newsletters in your email, they have lots of good hints.

4. NOW read the Attraction Code. It fits all these pieces of the puzzle together, and after all that other stuff, you will understand it a LOT better. Basically, you have to understand structured came before you can switch to natural game, that way you at leas have a framework to build on.

And repeat!

I disagree. DYD has much more of the fundamental knowledge and lays out all the basics, and while The Venusian Arts Handbook offers some great thoughts, it's important to learn that pick-up can be so much more than routines and gambits.
