So I meet this girl in the club on the weekend, probably about an hb8. start working on her, buildling attraction, kino's, then get the number close, even though she said she has a boyfriend twice. SO I text her an hour later when i left the club, asking for her facebook, she gives it to me, then we start chatting for about 20 minutes on texting. Then i make a dumb comment I guess. SHe said she was from a small town and I probably dont know of it, (we were in Edmonton at the time) and I said "YOu may not know this either, but I"m from a place called Edmonton. lol" i guess it was a bad jokeand I made her feel stupid! any thoughts? Anyway, I added her on facebook that night, and she added me back the next day. SO good sign. then she doesn't haves wall posts, so i PM her, saying like "omg you're on the ukranian dance team lol. maybe i'll see you dancing at vegreville next year lol" no response. just wondering where i went wrong in the joke and in how i played it on facebook.

hmm my guess would be you fucked up way before you even got the number, i doubt she was really ready to give the number, you were a bit too hasty to get digits, you should of left face book till later. think of it from her prospective, a guy you meet, he is kinda cute and conferdent, so you give him your number, soon as he gets he texts you asking for your facebook, so you give it why not. you kinda messed up with the joke, i'm from .... that lowered your value, because you're trying now to gain her approval by being similar. A smarter option for next time would be 'You're from XYZ no fucking way i loved that place, that's it i can't fucking even talk to you anymore' -it's called a false takeaway-

then yer it kinda went down hill from their, unless you have teased her about being a loner earlier it's a bit creepy/try hard to be funny to make a comment like that.
