Right guys, I’m in a right dilemma, here the lowdown,

Started first year at university and came across this lovely hb8, in my class no doubt. However, I never got around to having a decent convo with her but got all the right ioi eye contact, e.t.c, on every occasion.

Now just recently I got my SPAM back and was talking to a mate from university, who just happen to have that same girls number, which he happily provided,

Now the situation: should I phone/text and play my luck, or just bin it.

If you havn't talked to her before that screams no comfort creeper zone. You got the IOI's it's easy to turn over. If she is in the same class Amog make it seem like you have the answers and tell her your starting a study group get her number have her over, there are a millon good txt openers on the page thanks to some awsome PUA's... move in from there you should know what to do after that...

If you havent really met or talked to this girl yet in person, it would be very unwise to send her a text or to call her. It will come across as desperate and somewhat creepy in my opinion. Instead, talk to her next time in class. Build some comfort and even if you dont get her number the first time you talk to her, you will see her again in future classes. Once you two get to know each other a bit more, get her contact info (Act like you dont already have her number obviously) and go from there.

IF the class is already over and you have no way to contact or talk to this girl in person, then I would say can her and move onto the next one.

Oh man, definitely do NOT call her unless SHE gave HER number to you.

That smacks of creepy.

Reinforce my thoughts on it.

The friend who provided you the number, does he know her because else you could have him organize a little get together, and have him introduce you to her. And, in that case you could start talk about 'Hey, aren't you in my class?... yada yada yada'.
