I have been searching topics on how to approach mixed sets but couldn't find any good ones.. For some reason when I hit "search" botton on my PC, the page wont reload, so I might just post this question.
I tried opinion openers on mixed sets, but for some reason, i always think that the guys who are in set with hit girls are pretty socially savvy, so they always give me this look as if he knows what I am trying to do, I get this look from girls too sometimes... Therefore, i am kinda reluctant using opinion openers on mixed sets..
So are there any alternatives? If so, what can be some good follow ups after?
Another question is about dealing with the guys in set. Should I just ignore the girls and talk to the guys at first, for how long? Cuz people get pissed off when you ignore them after interrupting their conversation.. So what's the calibration here? When should I ask "how u guys know each other?" Is it after talking to the guys after a while?
What are some obvious things I can notice to see if the guy is AFC or Alpha so i can choose my attitude accordingly?
Please advice, thanks

With any UG, you try to befriend and win them over first (it's more important to actually befriend female obstacles, though).
As for that look you get, that's normal for any set, whether it's mixed or not. Just plow through that with positivity and persistence and you'll reach that social hook point.
