So this is kind of long, but if you've got time I could do with some help!
At a party on Saturday night. starts as house party, graduates to the beach. freezing cold north England beach. but hey.
Meet this HB8. I sort of used to know her, but like 5 years ago. We get talking & we REALLY get on and it gets quite serious - she starts talking about her mum dying and that, so trying to avoid the friend zone I change the subject to love & sex etc. she tells me about the guys she's pulled in Brighton (well known for its gay population) and how she's worried they're gay, I tell her I can see how they might get confused with her, things like that.
set up a running joke where she 'offended' me and has to repay me by bringing me smores pop tarts from this store near her flat which sells American food.
walking back to the house with everyone, but it's really dark and she's a bit drunk and falling over sand dunes etc. so I pick her up like I'm going to help her, then dump her on this huge pile of sand. She tries to put sand in my boxers and I'm like, "hey, i'm not that easy".. then we wrestle a little. back at the house..
So I'm on a (TINY) single bed, and HB8 has made some space on the floor next to it. she then steals my quilt, so I get up and hit her with my pillow. she responds by climbing on the bed and hitting me with hers, then pushing me off. I get back on the bed, and she's now gone into her sleeping bag like she's going to sleep. WTF. then she reaches her hand out and tries to steal my quilt again..
..next thing I know, i'ts morning. I'VE
PASSED OUT COLD. unbe-fucking-lievable.
so it's a bit awkward, although she's hot and i imagine she's not used to guys NOT hitting on her so maybe that helped my cause.
we swapped numbers anyway, as we were getting the train back together that day. on the train, she's sat on a seat facing away from mine, about 1 row back (busy train). she starts texting me like "abuse", rhymes about how much I suck etc so I totally kill her (english lit graduate, do not try and outdo me on wordplay bitch!)
When I get home i get a text saying she's made it home ok "Good seeing you again - have a funky week. twatface
xxx"
nice. so i give it half an hour and reply "I'll have a great week now you're safely out of my way. Maybe see you on the 19th [for a mutual friends birthday].x"
She's originally from the town where I live. I get this text the next evening:
"im comin back to visit my dad for a week. have my driving test really soon, so would you be willing to come to a secluded car park with me and practice my maneuvers? No worries if not. Will repay with pop tarts xxx"
now, i'm sure she actually
does need help with her driving test but that's gotta be an IOI right? she could have asked one of her schoolmates..or her DAD presumably!
So i'm seeing her in 9 days - how should I play it between now and then and how should I approach it on the night? because obviously I need to somehow get the attraction back without seeming too keen.
in the meantime I'm just going back to business as usual, but I won't forgive myself if I fuck it up twice. plus she's hot, she's a doctor - every hot girl i've met recently has been dumb or a total bitch. so yeah there's an element of oneitis - but unfinished business is unfinished business!
