Hello again!

Ive been facebooking this one chick and she mentioned that i was an emotional soul, this was after a comment about my busy weekend and wanting to see my 'terror, but butter wouldnt melt in his mouth nephew' who i hadnt seen for ages.
now im unsure how to take this, i personally take this as a compliment, because i feel it is important to have passion in ones life, yet i dont know if this is my AFCness comming out, is this a good sign? i dont think i was too full on??!

cheers

p.s. if it is a good sign, what is the best way to respond? and visa-versa if it is a bad sign!

Well, it's hard to tell what she thinks of it from what you've said. I know girls that say something like that and it's an IOD, cause she isn't looking for someone that is emotional and probably more of a relationship type person. I also know girls that would say that and swoon because they're totally into guys that are passionate and know when and how to use emotions effectively. Perhaps you know which type of girl this one is, in which case you have an idea how to answer.

If she's saying it as an IOD, or just a simple observation without really caring one way or the other (when it boils down, this is basically the same as an IOD), then you have options on how to reply. You can dismiss it and say that you're merely descriptive, you can turn it around on her and find out what makes her emotions active and link to that, or you can dominate the frame and tell her that you've got a passion for life etc.

If she's saying it as an IOI, then tell her that you're merely passionate for life and ask her what she is passionate about, then link yourself to that.
