I'm still in pretty early stages of learning, but I'm becoming very comfortable with approaching, even if it's just a guy and a girl, or a group of HB8+'s, something I've always been too shy to do. I have a friend who I just found out is into the PUA scene, so I'm going to wing for him a bit, and I think that's going to help a lot.

So far, I've used a lot of the "who lies more?" opener, and a few with the spells routine. Out of the maybe 40 or 50 sets I've approached in the last 2 weeks (I was at a festival, so I went a little crazy with approaching), I've only been blown out once... It was a group of 5 HB8-9's... I had a pivot, too so, I'm not sure what I did wrong, but since, I've been much more aware of my body language, and trying to look like I'm leaving. For the most part now, I feel like I need to work on my stacking of routines, and DHV, to keep myself in the conversation longer.

Tonight, I started with asking a 3 set who lies more, then once I got them going, I brought in another 3 set from over my shoulder, and got them all debating. I've managed to merge sets a couple of times in my adventures, and it seems to be a really powerful tool in keeping conversation natural, and in quickly getting guys especially to let their guard down.

Then, during the debate, a girl I haven't seen in a couple of years (HB7) came up and gave me a hug, so we talked for a bit, and by now the other 2 crowds had dispersed, and it was just us. When the conversation started to wane, I ran an ESP routine on her, with my own twist of doing the kino test at the same time. I like the results I can get with the numbers ESP routine, but I'm still not careful enough. Sure enough "OMG, how did you do that? it's in my eyes, isn't it?" I told her it was a cute little sparkle that told me the numbers, but she didn't buy it.

Then an HB8 beside us grabbed me from her booth and said "were you just telling her future? do me too!". I gave her a bit of a neg, and said something like "don't be greedy", and went back to the other girl. She introduces me to her friend (another HB7), and we chat it up for a bit. I got up to get a drink, and I see the table with the greedy HB8 is now full of people holding hands trying to read minds or futures or something... she just happened to be holding hands with one of the guys from the lying debate, so I leaned in and said "don't trust her man, she's lying, remember?" She laughed and said something about me doing the ESP on her, but I was already walking away to get a drink. When I came back, their booth had cleared a bit, so I asked if she really wanted me to read her mind. Ran the ESP, and got the first, but not the second. She asked me a bit about myself, and I really don't remember what I said, but it was something about DJ'ing (I'm a DJ, and we were chilling by the booth where my friend was playing). I don't remember talking to her for more than a couple minutes before she said "it was nice meeting you"...

Didn't let it phase me though. Went back to the 2 HB7's and talked for a bit more before a buddy tried to AMOG me, saying "I bet he's boring you", they laughed and said something like "yeah, he is", so I did a takeaway and said "You aren't so much fun, yourself" with a grin, and it worked like a charm. They were both trying to get me to stay... which was pretty cool. That makes me think I was doing well up until then. I was talking to another friend, and I see them basically ignoring the AMOG, and they looked a little more excited when I looked back at them, so I thought I'd reward good behavior and re-join the group... one of the girls had to leave shortly after, but I got a hug from both of them, which is more than the AMOG got.

I wasn't expecting anything from the night, so I'm just glad I had some fun talking to people and trying out material.
