It just sounds like you are hitting on her. You should have said the 'other girl was more attractive than you'. You complimented when a neg would have fitted better. Good that you opened though.

Dead as the DODO mate you needed to neg straight away to throw her off the scent but thrown in a LOL at the end as abit of a safety net. You could have switched it "come to think of it she was better looking than you lol". With facebook you can be a lot ballsier with negs than in real life. Email gaming is so easy coz she cant see any AA or lack of confidence. Main reason she didn't respond back is because you gave her absolutely NO reason to. At least if you negged her with what others suggested: "come to think of it she was better looking than you lol". Then more than likely she would have replied back trying to qualify herself to you or be pissed lol. Either way you can work it. You should have at least ended it with a question.
