Alright, I went out to have fun and get some practice. I had tickets for a comedy club again, and I had time before the show started. So I walked around the shopping area checking things out, and had a goal of 3 approaches, whether or not I closed or bombed, I wanted to work on my blunt direct approach.

I approached 3 girls and got a good close with 2 and the third was just rough but still managable. But the problem I had, was all 3 were solo, doing shopping, but they all somehow due to my shit luck, were together. So now I've got 3 girls that I did sorta the same thing with : had tickets to comedy show, friend had emergency and cant come, dont want to waste ticket. (essentially)

So if I wanted to pull one of them, how would I "explain" having approached her two friends, even unknowingly? The story I used was the same with all 3, and I know they talked on the way home. I'd just like to know in case I do something like that again and actually DO want to pull one.

If I recall correctly, you used that opener before and posted about it. I think its a decent opener. And the fact that you told all three of them the same story could be viewed as good. You "told the truth" to each one of them. If you were to talk to one of the girls again, you should point out the fact how odd it was that you approached her and her two friends. She should find that kind of neat, but make sure you have a plan about what to say if she askes what you did regarding the play. That will be a tough situation to fill, but i would probably just say "After being shot down by you and your two friends, I couldn't handle the rejections so I gave the tickets away, watched a chick flick and eat a whole carton of Ben and Jerry's ice cream." Make sure you seem playful and smile a lot when you say that and it will be golden.
