This girl was in my cell bio class (HB8) and we used to sit next to one another and talk about random bullshit every now and then. One day the prof said something about studying with a partner. Couple minutes after this, the girl taps my shoulder and hands me a piece of paper, while smiling with her number on it. We hung out a few times got dinner and other random shinanigans. Eventually i would call her and ask her out she would say yes but then a couple days later would cancel via a text never on the phone or in person. Eventually I just said fuck it and moved on to another girl.

This summer I work in a lab and it turns out she works in another one down the hall from mine. I saw her there but she didn't know i worked there. A guy she works with is a friend of mine and we ordered pizza couple of days ago so I went down there to eat.

When i stepped into the lab she got a huge smile on her face and the convo went a little something as follows.

Me: hey now dont get too excited i heard there was pizza down here so i thought i would stop by.

Her: ouch, that was harsh

BLAH BLAH BLAH

Her: We used to hang out what happened
Me: random answer (i dont really remember which sucks)

something came up about our birthdays and she remember mine was a few days ahead of hers

Her: We should have like a joint party or do something together for our birthdays!

Me: dang its like 4 months away and you're already planning?

More random talking.


My question is I dont really know if she is super friendly or if she is into me. I understand that the giving me her number out of the blue was huge, but she just seemed to turn off after a few weeks. I just dont want that to happen again if I pursue her. Any advice would be great thanks.

Check for IOI's. Use the hand squeeze. that's always a very good IOI and it'll put your game back on track.
