ok so basically i set up a date with an hb9 awhile ago (about 2 months) and i couldnt contact her because she "lost her phone". I figured w/e move on. And i did. About a week ago she started AIM and showed IOI's said that she had cut her hair because of me. (i had negged her awhile ago saying she had split ends). So i asked her if she had cut it especially for me and she said yes... and that I now owed her an icecream or something next time we were at a party together. I said screw that lets just meet up sometime next week cuse I'm very busy this week ( my time is precious girl) So after talking on the phone a few times we set up a date and she said she wanted to go "hang out" during the night (more date like SPAM) The night before i texted her asking her for her address, no response...The next day i called and got no response either. (she claimed her phone was messed up the day before... so i was like what ever)

Anyways she texts me and says that her friend is going away for a long time and she wants to see her before she leaves. She said we might not be able to get together depending on how long this thing goes. At first i bought it and i was like alright but let me know cuse i wanna play something else if you cant. Then she said she'd let me know in a few hours (i figured why get rejected then). So i said no, we'll do this some other time, go hang with your friend. She thanked me lots and said she promised it would work out next time...She hasnt contacted me in any way shape or form (text, call, AIM, facebook, etc ) and it has been almost 5 days now.

How does this work guys? She showed all the IOI's in our conversations yet she backs out? And then doesnt call me (when she said she would explain everything to me later) what the hell? I'm thinking bag this trash and move on. What do you think? Is she scared (she did go to an all girls high school, which might have something to do with it) or is she just tryin to play me?

Backward rationalization. Even if a girl flakes on you for a legitimate reason, she still pegs you in her subconscious mind as one of the guys she flakes on. She associates ALL those guys with low-value males. That's why you shouldn't deal with any flakes, whether the reason be fake or real.

Move on. As Chief, mentioned your near the bottom of her dating list. I bet she only contacts you for two reasons. The first reason is for the attention. While the second reason is because she knows your interested in her.

yeah i thought so she AIM'd me today after i posted an away message saying "Lakers win hahaha" or something. She just said "hahaha Yay!" and since i didnt respond to her she just sighed off. After she signed off i left here a message with just "mmhmm". I was just curious why should would come back after all this time out of the blue and go out of her way to set up a date and then flake out. It just doesnt seem worth the effort to do all that then not follow through. So whatever im movin on, and bascially tellin her to go hell if she contacts me (in a nice way of course) i got cuter, and other girls to try out. She missed out not me. Besides... a girl that flakes out twice... that certainly says something about her personality and values doesnt it?
