Hey,

I'm trying to get together with a HB I know from University. I thought the exam results would be a good excuse and she should be at home tomorrow because it's Father's day. Usually she's running around shopping so she cannot really speak.

I need some help trying to build the convo before dropping a hint at doing something to celebrate/drown our sorrows after exam results. They're Monday, and I want to go out Tuesday. Now, I've been on a date with this girl before but didn't use anywhere near enough kino so I need to setup another date soon to keep me out of LJBF zone. She paid for the meal last time and came to mine so I'm going to try and turn it and say something like "Hey, do you fancy celebrating our exam results on Tuesday? I still owe you a meal."

I've read that you shouldn't use phone calls to just setup dates all the time. The girl needs to get the impression your calling just to talk. Luckily the past few phones calls have ended quickly and were mainly based around her trying to setup a tour for me around the new office I'm going to be working at soon.

Can you recommend any good, general phone openers other than boring "What've you been up to?". She tends to use that a lot but rushes me to finish so DHV stories are cut short.

Thanks guys.
