Hey guys. I am real new to all this pick-up business and I am still doing a lot of reading on the art. As I have learnt new things I have started using them in small ways in my day to day interactions with women - I guess I am building confidence by seeing what works in a non-threatening way.

Anyway, I am a student at the moment but I have a job on Saturday. At work I quite often have different girls working with me, and I have started using these girls as practice almost. I try out little routines, muck about, but never as anything other than a bit of fun. I have phone-closed plenty, and I reckon I could take it further with a lot of the girls. I have a couple of questions though.

(1) Is it a good idea praciticing at work, as there is no real competition, and it is kind of a captive audience?

(2) Anything more than a bit of fun at work is a bad idea, right?

(3) I don't know anyone else in the game, should I sarge with everyday mates and just use my game when I wanna, or should I go it alone?

(4) Unrelated to work, but just another quickie. My sense of humour may be a little effeminate at times, or maybe childish, whilst it gets genuine laughs, it puts me in the 'friend' category. Should I change my humour around girls, or just up my game?

Any help is much appreciated, I suspect this may be the first of many posts!!

I think with the first point, it's a tale of two halves really.

On the plus side, its very good practice, no Approach Anxiety as you are just work colleagues, and I guess friends to a certain degree too.

On the down side, they may not be as harsh when something doesn't work, which could lead to a big fall in the field.

Overall, if you have fun, and they do too, can't see anything wrong with that!

That's actually a good point. Co-workers HAVE to pay you attention unless you're saying something completely unrelated or offensive. It's a perfect place to get over AA and test out opinion openers. I even ask one girl I work with about what tactics to use with other women.

Remember to keep it on a safe side. Boss surely wouldn't be happy if he/she hears about this, so avoid co-worker dating. It can pretty much destroy co-operation in work.

Sarge alone, or with buddies. Don't make your buddies stop you in sarging!

Humor - not so big problem, try to get cocky-funny humor too (DeAngelo's books are good for fixing that problem).
