I've been trying to make everything natural and flow smoothly, so I haven't used alot of canned stuff. Depending on my mood and the environment, my personality changes from being quiet and shy to talkative, energetic and often the center of attention. I've been trying to make this part of me shine through, because when I'm in that state I can talk to anyone about anything. Other times, my mind is blank and I feel alone and isolated. I have alot of acquantances but very few actual friends at my college.

I'm in a fraternity at UCONN, and I rarely drink, so when I go to our parties my bad side usually takes over. Also, at other frat gatherings I try to be myself but everyone ignores me and doesn't play along with my antics. So, I don't really show up very often to cope with this.

When I open sets it's when I see a convergence of factors- I'm in the proper mood and I see a good opportunity. This doesn't happen very often, but I'm trying to work on it. Currently it just feels too awkward to walk up to people in the day time and start talking, but my goal for the summer is to start really sarging. From the good interactions I've have I know it can be alot of fun, but engaging people at night at parties is alot different from the day.

Any advice on how to really start? I think I'm just going to have to push myself to it, but I'm going to post in the wing section to maybe find someone more experienced to at least start off.
