Hey guys,

I’m sort of new to the game (not too knew, I know the basics =D) and I guess this is kind of like a beginner’s question. Anywho, here’s what I want to say

I love this community and how it helps guys who are lacking social skills. I definitely understand the life of an AFC and I appreciate this community. I don’t mean to be a pessimistic person, but this topic has float around my head for a few days and I want to talk to people who actually know something about this!

Now I know the routines work and all and everything has been field tested. One thing I want to point out is all the exposure to this community (The Game by Style , VH1’s The Pick Up Artist, The Pick Up Artist’s Season 2!!!). I mean the pick up community has been discussed in talkshows, in the news, and all over the media. Look at how much our society has been expose to our community! I read a few blogs and articles from girls and guys who are sick and disgusted about the pick-up community and they will actually ”recognize” pick-up artists who asks them “Hey I’m taking a survey, who lies more girls or guys”. The pick-up community is only going to grow and imagine that there over tens of thousands of them. I mean I know the routines works now and before, but what about our future. There is something call “evolution” and if the same girl gets hit on by 5 pick-up artists, chances are that she’s on to something like the routines or the same lines being used. Right? I’m just worry that with all the exposure of our community and with so many pick up artists out there, the routines might wear off over time. Tell me what you think.

Canned openers and routines are only really there as learning tools to get you started. Once you get confident you won't need them... naturals don't need routines, therefore once you become natural neither will you.

This is something I am sure most of us think about and though I cannot say I am a true PUA, I want to add my two cents.

With publicity getting deeper and deeper into the tricks of the trade and exposing the community, it is as simple as evolving. Simple Darwinism, as problems arise we (as individuals) must evolve or become extinct. I have read countless styles of PUA, from David Deangelo to Juggler, but none has helped me as much as Style's. Essentially, learn the premise behind everything that is done: the way DHVs work, how great stories are created, and son. Once you know the premise, you can constantly create your own openers, DHVs, closers on your own.

With that said, not everyone watches those shows and not everyone knows about PUA. It may be on TV and in books but surprisingly not many people know about it still.

All in all, it was a matter of time before things got public. However, I see it as a challenge and a way to force myself to sink or swim. Being a routine robot is not my goal and publicity forces me to try my own new things.
