So this girl told me she was going to do me a favor. I believed her and depended on her help. Then she flaked. I know i shouldnt have depended on anybody else for help but it pisses me off that she said one thing and did another. The favor was not even a big deal but whatever. What should i do when i see her next time? Should i act like its not a big deal? but i feel if i act like its not a big deal to me, im setting myself up for being stepped on. What frame should i establish here (or generally in life)?

well in everyones life, they flake everynow and then. If she has shown IOIs then freeze her out for a minute. If she hasnt, then why should she care about investing in you? If she turns out to be the flaky type, dont put up with it, remember there are millions of other girls out there, and if she starts to see you with hella other girls, she may get jealous and cut down on the flaking...

To add to my post, i now understand why you get a girls phone number and not the other way around. I guess its their nature...?

I'm wondering the same thing too. Most of the posts I've seen tell the guys to "move on" or find someone else.

I've wondered what makes a girl flake, and how to overcome flaking.
