What is the best way to launch a neg. Is it better to say it in a playful manner (my preference), say it seriously then tell them your joking, or is it better to say it as seriously and no relief afterwards?
Your answers gentlemen?

Just read the situation, but its never a good idea to say " I was only kidding." That can break your cocky funny frame. _________________ success is my only mother fucking option, failure is not.

I get the impression tho that some negs should be said seriously like..
"Do you want a breath mint?" It implies that the target has bad breath. "Jokingly" it means nothing, but "seriously" it lowers her SE and makes you look like a good samaritan heping her out.

ps on that note should winks be included after negs? should i say a neg and then wink with a "just kidding hun"

Like you said, if it's something like, "Want some gum?" Then you need to say it seriously, because laughing makes you look like a retard. Whereas walking up to a girl and seriously saying, "I like your hair, is it real?" without any smile or playfulness will offend her. Depends on the situation, the neg, the target of the neg, etc, etc, etc. (Yeah, there are that many etcs involved). _________________ "The 'Brick Walls' are there to allow you to prove how badly you want something!" ~ Randy Pausch
