Ok I have this friend and we've been close for a long time. He's been dating this girl for about three years on and off and on and off... They're absolutely horrible for each other. I love both of them to death so, ironically, I want to help them both out by picking her up to show her there are other guys and then show him there are other girls. There's a golden opportunity here, he, unfortunately, recently was admitted to rehab (I am rooting for him in there every day) which means he's just gone for a few months.

Now, there are a few problems here. First, I'm in LJBF because I've known her forever and I'm comfortable with her and attraction didn't even cross my mind until recently. (Side question, can this comfort be recycled in the process, or do I have to build a different type of comfort?)
Second, our schedules are different enough that when I see her face to face it is almost always with all of our friends, so my one on one time is through the awful media of text message (but at the same time I'm more skillful at the written word.)
Third, she's obsessed with him. She brings him up all the time. I've tried tactics like saying, "Yeah, I really think he's a great guy he can be there for you and protect you and be your best friend (which points out that he obviously can't he's in rehab, right?) so we need to keep our little affair secret."
or once I said something like, "He's good for you blah blah that's why we have to end our love soon." To which she responded, "Nah, we've got two months before he gets out." You know, just teasing.

So here's the point I'm up to now. She said something really sweet to me, over text of course and I used the basic:
Me: You're probably the sweetest person I know I love it.
Well, maybe the second sweetest.
Her: Who's the 1st! You luv me sometimes then you don't! Why! (Which is a great reaction right?)

So then I asked her about her first kiss and what it felt like and I went through my first kiss and a very descriptive and emotional rundown of what it was like, and I said something like now every time I kiss a girl it feels like that because I build up the anticipation and I make sure they're really worth it. (Not sure about saying this it seems a little shaky to me) I think it got her going, but for her boyfriend, she just started talking about him. I tried to ignore a text then I changed the subject. This whole situation seems stacked against me (which isn't cool for my inner game, it would be sweet as hell to win this one.) So I don't know, I'm out of ideas about her obsessive nature. Anyone got anything?

Good god...do you guys have any idea what this can do?

I'll report on how this one concluded...vaguely. You won't need any other information than last night I pulled out my keys just for a joke, you know to distract the girls around. They started to fight over them. It makes me feel a little evil manipulating people that much.
