So theres this girl i used to work with before i went away to school, we had talked a few times that ended in the conclusion we were going to sleep togeather. So the other day i got a text out of the blue and she basically told me she missed me and never got to kiss me etc. So we set up plans to hang out, have her come over to my place and should have been a done deal. When i texted her that afternoon to confirm when id be by to pick her up she told me she was sick (could be true i guess) but i dont really beleive it. Later that night i got another text saying how she was sorry and how she really wanted to hang out. I just played both of these off as if it didnt phase me. Do i wait for her to contact me or do i try and set something else up with her, and if im initiateing the conversation how would you go about it? The only other sticking point is she has a bf, now i dont care bc the relationships between them and she was the one to get a hold of me but could that be the reason for the flake?

Dawg, my bet is something was actually up with her. She recontacted you twice= she does want to spend some time with you. Shoot her a text. Here's an opener. Say something like Hey kangaroo;) here's a little test....try to read this and not smile

Always will get a response. Go into setting something up again, sounds like it will be pretty likely.

When you have a hangout planned for that weekend, i usually find it easiest to shoot the most simple text "hey (name), whats up?"

They will tell you, and then you say lets chill for a bit, you down?
