Okay so I really like this girl since we had a sort of connection and sweet hug during a get together at a friend's house. We didn't talk much but I was able to get her number.

Eventually we text a bit, and in the texts I let slip some cocky stuff like "I'm the star of my theatre group!" and now I heard from her friends some stuff that I'm not her type because I was conceited and stuff.

I don't wanna give it up, but when I text her, she usually replies just once, or twice in a night, and it takes her a while to do so.

I tried to get her on MSN messenger by claiming I had no load left on my cell, but she said she wasn't home at the time and couldn't go online. I have a feeling she just didn't want to give her messenger to me, but I don't know.

My friends and I agreed that for now, maybe I should leave her alone for like 2 weeks, then try again, although I feel like the forum can give me a better course of action.

Any tips for me? I'm willing of course to be less conceited from now on.

sounds like shes made up her mind about you already... trying harder will make it worse plus she'll tell other girls and make that harder too.....

you can one last attempt it and then drop it...
id wait a few days.. cut her out cold unless she attempts to talk to you first. then after like 4 days text her something like

"hey princess, I totally almost forgot about you!...ya still mad at me?"

and she will be like

"huh mad? no why would i be?"

"i donno lol i dont remember the last time we talked, i just assumed argument...maybe we should have an argument..like now. its healthy"


but like i said i donno if she will be up for playing this game anymore if she thinks ur a dick already.. you have to bring it back to playful but i dont think shes interested... ur sarcasm might come off as offensive if shes in that mindset..

if thats the case you pretty much have to go with afc style but more collected like

"hey you! almost totally forgot about you. been forever. last week i was really stressed out n wasn't really myself, my friends say i was bein a **** to THEM even...didnt mean to offend anyone...would be cool to catch up this week. whatchu up to sunday?



if you dont think she'll bite on either of those.. then ur sunk imo.... only other way is to run into her in person and be really charming confident and leave the cocky humour at the door and be more whacky, random and stupid.. i had a new girl tell me im hilarious on the phone last ngiht.. our first phone call since the pu... she said

"you're friggin hilarious....not even in that its funny hilarious but like really witty and random.. i love it. i donno what to do with you.. im like not witty at all right now"

i was also being really cocky too tho....
