Hey all...relatively new to the PUA game, but had great success this summer. I've hit a snag with this girl and want some advice. First off, this is the one I'm looking for more of a relationship with than a casual hook-up (aren't those always the hardest to run game on?).

Here's the deal: Met her the other day, invited her over to a little party at my house I was having. She came to the party wearing a ring, I asked her about it and learned that apparently she was engaged/supposed to be married a month ago and it was broken off (not sure who did the breaking off...but the fact that she's still wearing another ring on her finger as the "fuck off" ring makes me think it was him). Texted her a few times during the week and got response, just no flowing conversation. Asked her out to another event but she was busy. Now its been a few days and we haven't communicated at all. As much as my senses tell me to leave this one the fuck alone, I can't. After talking to some of my girl friends they all suggested I "be her friend" until the ring comes off and then go for it, but I'm skeptical about this method. Any advice? Anyone been here/near this weird of a situation before?

Alright; firstly, ditch the attitude that she's 'looking for a relationship' and all that. 9/10 girls will follow whatever frame you set for the interaction, if you're dominant and confident enough with it. I think in general, posting on here asking for specific advice on specific girls means you're in the wrong sort of mindset; you need to keep yourself flowing and talking to lots and lots of girls, that way they will all seem totally disposable. Does that make sense?
