Background story: I met this Californian girl at the summer program we're both in. I got her number after a short chat. I called her the day after to set up a date. She answered right away, I was pretty alpha on the phone. I told her to make two promises with me on the phone if she wants to eat some homemade delicious food. Basically, she has to answer my phone ASAP and follow the 1st rule. She agreed to those rules but next day she flaked on me. She never texted me back when I texted her. Today when we were at the gym, she even ignored me. The only times I can have a conversation with her is in or after class and these turn out to be fun, playful, but short. I feel if I have more personal time with her, then I can make her interested and even chase me! I feel as if she doesn't like me for some reason. I added her on FB but she ignored (declined)my request.

My question is: should I keep plowing on this chick? She's like a solid 9+. And if yes, then how can I have more talking time with her without being obvious that I'm hitting on her? Thanks, guys!
