It is NOT a point where you get stuck with ONE SPECIFIC GIRL.

Qualification is a massive sticking point of mine at the moment, I'm wondering if someone could suggest some material worth reading or post a helpful explanation.

Heres some material Sinn wrote about qualification.

I read this a while back and applied it to my game and it did wonders.
