Kk guys, today was the day.
I agreed with my friend that once i got my haircut i would finally go talk to this girl.

This girl, her name is Alice... I rate her at 8.

Anyway, today i walked around casually, with my friend discussing how this was going to happen. Seeing them quite soonly sitting on the ground near by, i obliged by the 3 second rule and immediately approached (i did sit down with them). My so called friend bailed on me and left me with this girl, unfortunately, there was 4 all together. I opened with the jealous girlfriend story, asking all the girls in the group except for Alice. All was going well, as knowing one other girl in the group personally.

But, i couldn't isolate the target, as soon as i made a interesting point to continue conversation, they all bickered about with each other, leaving me somewhat stranded. Knowing that getting the conversation dominance back would be almost nearly impossible, i bailed saying that i had to meet my friend so she could give me some notes before it got to awkward.

So, in this situation, should i have a wing man to take control of the other 3 girls so i can independently talk to my target?
or try my best to isolate by myself?

On a lighter note, i was able to isolate a girl and 'escort' her on her way to school that morning. I was able to number close after a good 10 mins, and plan on texting her in 2 days time.

yeah, dude most of the time a wingman is extremely useful in helping to entertain other non targets in your set. it's a pretty difficult thing to do by yourself, entertaining 4 girls at once but it can be done.

On the other hand, i don't think in this scenario it would've been totally necessary to isolate the target. I mean, you probably could've number closed right there by saying 'i gotta go, let me get your number' or otherwise making up some good reason to get her number.

almost always the friends have no problem with their friend SPAM a number. Hell, one time I opened a three set that was sitting down at a rave (in the lobbyish part) and I stood one of them up and made out with her right in front of her two friends. Depends on the girl, but I'd say a lot of times isolating isn't even necessary unless you're gonna f-close.
