For example... if she's worried about opening up, you will say it first, or in a different way, you will express to her that you're worried about opening up about stuff to people blah blah because of blah blah. That way, she feels you both have the same worry or whatever, so it should settle her worries a bit.
and as a final thought... if all she's objecting to is talking about her past relationships, do you really want to be talking about her past relationships? So be careful about just trying to get her to talk about her past relationships, it could be useful to here about it briefly... just to guage what issues there are, but do NOT dwell on it in any way shape or form, you don't want her focussing on that stuff with you.
