i say this because i;ve seen countless times when two people are dating and suddenly he asks her, and its like someone's flicked the attraction switch back to off.
In my opinion, there is quite a simple reason for this: the mere asking, (and i emphasize asking) is extreme AFC behavior. It has made you too available, you are no longer anything to be aspired towards getting, simply you have become BORING!
Harsh isn't it.
therefore a simply remedy is not to ask, but rather tell.
THat is, "Lets make this official" as opposed to "Hymmm what would you like to do about this?"
whats your opinions/personal experiences on this?

Now I don't ...
I just say
"Be my girlfriend" ...
Even if I wanted to ask, I don't think it goes with my new me now ...
