You know how every once in a while you hook up with a girl and you really connect and think you are past the bullshit games ? I did, and i was proven wrong once again. Here is how it went down:

I was out on friday with a bunch of friends, drinking, having fun, and I met this girl in the club. I dont remember how, because i was pretty wasted, didnt care etc. (in retrospect, that was probably what attracted her to me). Ok so me and her go to another club together, have some more fun, then she takes me to her place. We start making out, on the bed as i proceed to take her top off she gives me the "i have a boyfriend" line - i reply with: "great, so do i". So we kinda make out and cuddle topless (she's got really great tits) etc., but she wont let me take her pants off, and every time i grab her ass and pussy she takes my hands away (like a million times . I must have missed a shit test before that (I was pretty drunk) otherwise I assume we would have had sex, but instead she was kind of grinding on me through our pants (i dont like that if its not going anywhere). Okay, so I go to the bathroom, and when i come back i see she's been going through my phone, since the screensaver just started, i jokingly ask her and she admits, i couldnt give her shit about it, she was so cute, so i play it off like "did you find anything interesting ?" as if it was no big deal in a joking manner. She later asks me about my previous relationships, and i honestly told her shit like that I had a long relationship but that i was immature back then and cheated on the girl etc. We also had some playful moments where i was "stealing" cigarretes from her purse because i didnt have any, and kind of played "keep the bag away from her". It was fun, she was chasing me around and hitting me while laughing, i could tell it was fun for her too. Ok, so its 2pm and i decide to leave, we kiss and she says that i should come by thursday and that she is gonna fuck me, basically. Oh before i left i also told her to give me her phone number.

Ok so on thursday (today), i send her a text around 1pm saying "i forgot to ask you friday whether you were any good at massage?". I was training that day and i figured i could use a good massage. She texts me back 5 hours later (wtf?) saying "its nice you remembered, but i think you should try it and not ask about it". I reply (i didnt wait, i probably should have since she took her sweet time) "im going training, ill be back in town at around midnight and i'll stop by your place. We'll see what you can do.." So 4 hours later, im returning to town and i get her text saying "call me when you are back in town. we'll talk then about what we're gonna do tonight" (in retrospective, at that point i probably should have just txted back that i changed my mind or something).

So i get back to town, i call her up (i wasnt in the best mood and stifled, she could probably hear it in my voice - i could):

me: hi <her>, whats going on?
her: nothing, im at my girlfriend's place (at this point i was a bit shocked)
me: so tonight's cancelled?
her saying away from the phone to her girlfriend but i could still hear, she was undetermined: what are we doing tonight anyway, are you going home or...
her: i mean you and i didnt make any concrete plans.. (jesus)
her: what did you want to do ? you said something about a massage? what do you expect from tonight?
(this is where i think i totally blew it)
me: i thought we would hang at your place and you could give me a massage.. dont worry, im not gonna hold you to that sex promise (OMG i cant believe that came out of my mouth but i just couldnt believe the BS she was giving me after we had already hooked up, and SHE said she wanted me to come thursday and that we are gonna have sex)
her: i never said that (she did)
her: but we are going out to party, you wanna come ?
me with a serious voice: listen, i dont feel like going out, i had a busy day, you girls have fun.
her: (something with kind of a dissapointed tone, but i didnt hear because i took the phone away from my ear and hung up)

I went home like fuck this shit, and an hour later from the phone call, i get her text saying "sorry about tonight. we didnt plan it well, there was a misunderstanding. i hope we can make up for it soon?".

I'm still kind of pissed off but i would like to give it a shot with her. I thought about what to write back (1st instinct was "whatever, this isnt gonna work"), and then i figured you guys probably have a better plan on how i should proceed so im gonna write back tomorrow after i get some advice from you guys. Should i play hard to get with "im gonna be busy this week" - which is true, but i could find a few hours for her if i really wanted to.

I mean i can tell from the night we hooked up she's into me (hugging, kissing, grinding me), i just feel like she has a kind of a shield and she's testing me because that night i guess i came off as sort of a player who just wants to fuck her. Can you guys give me a basic strategy i can follow in this situation?

From what I'm reading right now, you're pretty golden. If SHE is apologizing for YOU not going to a party, then she is definitely interested, probably in some no-strings hooking up…wait, she SAID that she "wants to make it up"! It's pretty clear cut what she wants. I think that you should tell her what you told us: that you're busy, but you could find a few hours for her. Outside of that, most of your instincts seem solid.

Just be careful what you say over the phone! That conversation would turn off any woman…holding her to a verbal contract on sex!? You should know better! Haha, but seriously, I always stick to innuendos and such, so that I have plausible deniability…but that's just my personal style.
