A Sticking Point or SP is an issue you CONSISTENTLY run into.

It is NOT a point where you get stuck with ONE SPECIFIC GIRL.

A Sticking Point is:
Quote:
I keep getting LMR whenever I bring girls back to my place. This has happened at least 10 times already! What am I doing wrong?
A Sticking Point is NOT:
Quote:
I got LMR with this one girl! What do I do?
IT IS AGAINST THIS BOARD'S RULES TO POST THREADS ABOUT JUST ONE GIRL
If you have not already gone out and practiced enough to have a real Sticking Point from meeting an ABUNDANCE of women, YOU DO NOT DESERVE TO POST HERE.

Hey,

I am currently at uni, and during the first week of my third year I have met this girl I quite like. She looks exactly like Frankie from the saturday's (http://twitter.com/FrankieTheSats). When I was out with her (Friday night) I did loadsa kino..thumb wars, holding hands, high fives etc! And I am pretty sure she is interested!

Anyway I got her number on facebook a few days after and this is how the convo went on Sunday after the night out:

Me: Hey goofy! Its Mr King. Knock Knock.. x x

Her: Hey geek! Whose there? xx

Me: Cow go... x x

Her: Cow go who? x x

Me: Lol! No. Cows go moo! Haha! Makes me laugh everytime. Ur turn..? x x

Her: Haha! I dont think i can beat that 2bf, anyways im shit at jokes! Good weekend? x x

Me: Come on Mrs King! Dont let the King name down (mine and hers second name is King) I had a really good BBQ party last night, might aswell make the most of the weater. The food was amazing! (semi-DHV). We normally go this amazing place called capel curig where we go waterfall jumping and chill with a bbq. Are you the adventurous type of girl? How was your weekend? x x

Her: Cool, sounds good! Yeh weekend was alright thanks, just went out fri and last night. Just slobbing out 2day, think freshers flue might be taking over! x x

After that last text I didnt text back, as I thought it would lower my value and seem desperate to keep the convo going. Was there anything I did wrong...or could have improved, or was it just her..? I saw her in town yesterday and she would agree with stuff I said and kept really good eye contact which is always a good sign!

I am thinking of sending her a sorta role play text like..

'Hakuna Matata! What a wonderful phrase!........Xx'

just something light and something she can get involved in?

Any critiques, comment, advice on everything so far?

cheers

NO.FX

I would've replied in a situation like that. You won't seem needy or desperate if you just say something with a "dead end" in it. Like: Oh wow, then I guess we both had a great time ;)"

Remember that smileys are very essential in text gaming. Anyways, I would also not suggest that you write something random like "Hakuna Matata" or whatever. That will make the impression that you have nothing better to say and that you were looking for any reason to talk to her.
