So this isn't the type of thing I typically post, nor do I have this problem often. buuut...

So a month ago, I got dragged to a Hooters, and ended up gaming the waitress and getting a number close. After a week, we started talking and texting all the time and everything seemed great. She has a kid, who she said she lived with and raised alone, which doesn't really bother me. We ended up getting together again, when she was working the bar, and me and her friend (HB9 with an excellent boobjob) went out to a couple bars. Me and the waitress made out all night, and I proceeded to turn on a bunch of attraction switches and got on the topic of safety and trust in relationships. After I dropped her off, I got a call an hour later about how guilty she felt, and said she lied to me because she lives with her ex BF (Not the child's father). So That sucks but no big deal. Our covnersations got longer and she got extremely attached to me. Always thinking about me and all that. Well 2 days ago it was her birthday, and she said one of her regulars came to her party at a bar (I couldn't attend the party because I had a prior engagment and she lives an hour away) and gave her 100 dollar just for her birthday. So for some reason, I got nervous and said something along the lines of "Don't forget about me". And she called me twice to assure me she wouldn't. (It's kind of odd I even said that, considering I'm not really interested in her romantically). Since then, she's been more distant. Her messages are less frequent and she's hardly talkative at all. Have I blown it?

It doesn't sound like you blew it. It sounds to me like she's maybe going through some LMR, or trying to make herself not like you that much.


I kind of wonder about the calling you twice thing. What'd you say to her when she called those two times? Did she know you were joking or something?

I wouldn't be too worried, it sounds like she's not someone to lose sleep over anyway.

Thanks man! I appreciate it. Yeah she's not really much of a catch, but hey, who doesn't love a Hooters girl. The first time she called and said something like "Are you actually worried?? I'm here calling you in the bathroom and all my friends are here. There's no way I'd forget you" The second time she calle dit was like 2AM and I was out. I woke up to a text at 2:30 that said "I can't stop thinking of you". Haha. Game! But regardless of all this, it's not realy worth all the hassle.
