so, the hb calls me and wants to go out for a couple drinks and i say alright. that was at 10pm. she was helpin a friend with a hair disaster and didnt actually head out till bout midnight. bars here close @ 1am. we would only have time for last call, so i told her to head to my place and we'll have some wine here. i assume that her kinda her plan to just happen to miss the bar hours, i think. we had some wine and talked alot while we spooned on the couch and i threw the cube at her and of course it worked great. couple more routines and she was fascinated by me. asked her what kinda kisser rating she was and she got a little nervous, so i volunteered my score as an 8 and explained i think im better but gotta remove the bias obviously...hehehe...she laughed and still didnt respond but was givin me the "just kiss me look"...i asked her if she wanted to kiss me and she seemed real nervous how to answer and told her i never said you could...she liked that, so i gently drew her face close to me with my finger tips lightly guidin her face to mine and we started to makeout...she was an awesome kisser...later we were way tired and i told her to stay. she agreed, but kinda in a way of she wasnt sure about the idea yet(we're both sober by the way) i set the candles and lighting for a seductive SPAM and she was already in bed. i started letting me hands wander and ran into LMR. i freezed her out and turned the lights on and left to get some water. by the time i got back to my room, she already returned the lights back to the seductive lighting. i told her im a gentleman and can wait for fun another time, but let her know that i did want it. i did this cuz i wanted to push pull her a little for the LMR, but thought the long term effects of making her wait a little longer now keeps me in control. so my question is, did i do the right thing and play my cards right with her? or should i have gone for the lay? please gimme some advice on the situation and possibly anything ya mighta done different...

You should have kept going for it, and if you got LMR, freeze out again...
