Hey guys,
Recently I've been talking to this hb 8 and we've been hanging out a lot and I've kinked and dhved and whatnot and all of a sudden she doesn't want to hang out anymore. Whenever I bring it up she just changes the subject or ignores it. However, she texts me nonstop yet she doesn't want to hang out. Also whenever we talk somehow she always ends up talking about this guy she recently met and how she likes him or whatever. I'm left confused because I'm not sure how to respond when she starts to bring up other guys.

She's either trying to goad you into trying harder, trying to figure out if you're interested at all, or subtly letting you know she's not into you. I'm leaning toward the latter based on her behavior but since you know the girl and I obviously do not, I leave it up to you to make the call.

Yeah I think she might be trying to show disinterest but she texts me nonstop and always talks about this guy. How would you respond when a girl starts talking about other guys? And I don't think it would be a good idea to just ignore her texts because she would think that somethings up so what do I say to get her to stop texting me because in my opinion it's becoming a waste of time if we're just gonna text and not hang out...

i think shes playing with you ignore her be fore you hurt yourself any girl that does that is just not worth it

For example we hadn't talked all day yesterday and she just texts me at 1 am. I didn't respond till the next day afternoon but this is the convo so far:
hb:
me: why the sad face?
Hb: remember that kid I was telling you about? X?
Me: mhm
hb: I just miss him.

well could say you know what your to needy i have my own problems i am your friend but i am not just your friend, she could say something like how mean or rude ignore her talk a week then call her up invite to a party or something she mentions him let her go

She is telling you this because you are her friend and she feels comfortable expressing her feelings with you.

As far a response goes, she is possibly expecting you to understand her and give her reassurance about her feelings towards him. What you should respond with is dependent on what YOU want. If you are fine with being friends, then tell her you understand. If you aren't cool with that, tell her. Let her know you don't want to hear her problems because everyone has them. As of right now, I'd say she sees you a close friend, and friends are open with each other.[/b]
