Yes, its usually harder. If you're asking this, it probably means that they've been around you and have developed an impression of you that says you're only going to be her friend.

I don't think there is a specific method other than to hang out frequently, always have fun, try to demonstrate value, and try to move forward when opportunities arise. Abandon outcome based mindsets and your inner game should be basically fine.

About 6 months ago I moved back to a small town where I lived 2 years ago, and therefore the only options of girls were the ones I knew before when I was an AFC. And man it has been tough to shake the persona I used to have as an AFC. Despite the fact that I know what I know now about the pick up arts, I have found it really hard to change these girls' impressions of me from friend to legitimate potential fuck.

However, I will say though that it depends on the state of your inner game. If your inner game is strong enough, and you dont care about ruining your relationship with the girls that you already know, then it shouldnt be a problem. For me personally I know for a fact that I wouldnt care if I ruined my relationships with any of the girls in this town, but what prevents me from running game on them is that mentally my frame isnt right because I feel ive already eliminated myself as a potential fuck when I DLV'ed myself during my AFC days. My game around girls I already know, and the cold approach is night and day.

Anyways thats my personal experience on the whole matter, hope that helps you understand where your at.

Its easy to reach a threshold of indifference when dealing with strangers, but sticking points can be more difficult to overcome when you're dealing with people in your social circle.

I've heard guys say that it's possible. I'm also trying to get with a girl that I know, but then again she really doesn't know me at all like that, if that makes sense. Things seemed to be going great until tonight and I feel like I got shot down HARD. I guess I can just empathize, I hope somebody else has some really good, positive advice...
