hi everyone, first time poster and really new to PU, i day time number closed a hb8 on monday and sent something along the lines of:

"hey ... nice meeting you how was the rest of your day?"

she replied the following day with:

"hey babe, i havent forgotten you lol. how are you? that was so random of u x"

(random im assuming because it was a cold approach)

"hi i know right lol, im good? how are you? did you find something for your mum? x"

(she said she was out shopping for a present for her mum)

i replied back quite a while after she text me her reply...and havent heard anything since. have i already already fluffed this and what should i do in the future at this stage?

When I get random #'s w/day game I have the same problem. You've got to go pretty quick and hard into c&f and attraction type stuff for a while, especially through text, since you met her for probably like 5 minutes even if you built attraction it probably wasn't enough to last. Make fun of her, get her laughing for a while then disappear for a day maybe then get back into it. I hate calling chicks I don't know well so I fuck myself there but I think you MUST push the attraction as hard as possible until you know you've got that base before you can talk "normal" to her otherwise you'll be ignored or "friended". Fuck that

What I did recently is I texted her "(my name)'s #" like 10 mins after I got hers and she was like "hey" and I started busting on her from there, like "hey stop texting and get back to work" but you could probably say any number of things just lay on the cocky&funny for a bit otherwise you won't have any attraction.

i have had the same problem with texting, i wish i had a good answer for you. i attempt to (when i think i will #close) learn a few things about the girl that i can use on her in texting. say for instance we hit into small talk and she mentions she likes emily sickenson. i will take a moment during my two day wait to pull up some lesser know (but not compleatly forgetten) poems that only a fan would know about to use as ammo when texting or calling her. thats bout all i can say on it. i will be sure to watch this thred
