often i will run across a 3 or 4 set with 2 girls and 1 or 2 guys. these guys are usually not even AMOG, but they will just hang around beta style. how can i get rid of the guys without seeming like a total dick?

If they are exhibiting beta behavior then they are beta males. As a result they are neutral and of no threat to your game. After you have qualified the girl, a sure sign of having enough attraction, isolate her from her group for a few minutes and either number close her or bounce her to a new venue.

Have you ever tried merging sets? Start a topic in the set your currently in and open another set (with in a close area) and combine the groups. Hopefully the "beta male" will take the bait and try a side conversation with the girls in the other group. Guys will enjoy this and accept your into their set for this because they will see you as a friend and not some guy trying to work their girls. Furthermore, it'll show high levels of social intuition and it's a DHV.

That was some good Advice given from the guy above me.

Remember to give a bit more attention to the guys, 1)that'll disarm them 2) the girls won't think your tryin to work them thus being more open to you, and 3) the girls will get jealous of the attention not on them and thus when you do give them a bit of attention it'll go a long way. be well equipped with interesting stories and techniques of random skills to show your new party and use technology to make the girls attracted and number close them there, shoot you could even get the guys numbers so they don't feel weird and say you all should get together sometime and on the way outta the club or where ever throw it out. just some things that have worked for me

true i guess what it comes down to is i'm just not good at talking to random guys. when i started this i wasn't good at talking to random people, but i've learned game designed for girls and practiced it mostly on them.

i have heard the idea of telling a DHV story to the guys but loud enough so the girls hear it too, i will try that perhaps.

another thing i realized is usually if the guys are with the group it's not worth trying to blow them out, just isolate and # close.
if they just met that night though game on!! - particularly like discreetly telling a girl "this guy is kinda creepy" regardless of whether i think he is
so find out how they know each other and move accordingly.
