I have noticed through more time in the field that I have seen a little bit of a transformation of myself. As I continue to advance as a PUA i.e. transition from AFC to PUA/Chump to Champ. I have noticed AFCs more in the field that are cockblocking me and asking me the same question I did in the past. Night in and night out I run into AFCs that ask the "typical question" of me the moment I "open" a set. For example:

Me (to female): Wow, I really like your style! You look like a model have you every considered modelling somewhere?

Female: Oh, Thanks I bought this at XYZ store. What do you think of it?

Me: It looks great! You look great in it?

AFC (Interupts me): Hey, How you doing? (Shakes my hand) So, what do you do? Where are you from?

Female (to AFC): Wow! What is this an interview? Hold on here! This is my "friend" John!


I seem to just get bombarded with the typical AFC questions that hinder my game a little because I am ot entirely sure how to answer in such a way so I don't seem to appear as an average guy.

Letely, I seem to end up getting dragged into a typical AFC conversation and discuss things like what I do, etc. I realized that after I open all the attention from the set is drawn to me and I am not sure how to deal with this yet entirely. I understand that they are AFCs and not that am not completely an AFC, I will avoid asking the typical questions in a set and the AFCs are the first to start asking these questions to both men and women in the vacinity.

I guess my question is "How do I deal with AFCs without getting drawn into a lengthy conversation about the "typical questions" without coming-off as being an "average" guy?"

This is why it's important to have a good flow and get better at noticing the obstacles BEFORE they arise. Subtly imply he was rude for interrupting your conversation, hold one finger up and say "Hi John, just give me one second, I was just having a conversation with your friend Girl X" then turn your back slightly to leave him hanging and carry on your conversation with the girl. Most AFCs hate being left hanging, so they will usually leave at this point to escape the awkwardness and try to interrupt your flow a bit later in the conversation, which should give you enough time to build more rapport and kino.

A better option is to spot the orbiter and grab the girl before she notices him and lead her somewhere else to isolate her. If any cockblockers give you any shit, just say you are just "borrowing her for two minutes" and you'll be right back. Then you can borrow her for however fucking long you want.

Generally, I ignore the guys in the night. When they come up to greet themselves or whatever, I just say

Hi, nice to meet you. Enjoy your night.

And I go back to talking to the girls.
