I can't seem to find the medium. I wonder if this is a calibration issue. With me, some girls are ready to be contacted a day or two after I meet them, while I find others would get "creeped out" by that. To avoid the creep out factor with hotter girls I wait... often too long (a week or so) and whenever that happens I tend to get friend zoned. Maybe I was friend zoned to begin with?

I realize that it is often best to make plans to see them again, and let the phone number be a reinforcer, but does anyone have any insight about calibration and how long to take before you contact a girl when making plans isn't possible?

I try to be remembered, try not to be the same. Obviously by being in this community you are not, but what I found best for me is to be light and funny. After getting a number, I text, 'yo, this is an important #. Keep it close to heart. Seven.' I still have 1000 miles to improve, though.

Think, lots of guys think same what you think, not to bee 'needy' and texting after a week or so, she will probably won't remember you after a week..

text her AS you get the number. Remember reading in a book, might have been by Vroosh, say something funny like, "HELP some stalker girl just gave her my number!" This is with her in front of you obviously. Nice way to get the convo started, you can then proceed to call her Sunday or Monday night after the Saturday. I think the 3 day rule is not too effective nowadays. If you implement it they know EXACTLY what you're doing.
