Hi All,
I'm new to this forum so I hope I post in the correct place, if not, I'm sorry!
I've recently lost some weight so my self esteem starting to improve.
Yesterday, during shaving, I got myself a french beard.
Today, a colleague of mine (female) saw me with the new beard (she got into our office and talked with everyone).
When she saw me, First she said: "What is this beard???" (rolling her eyes..)
And I ignored her comment, and continued the conversation regulary and then she said:
"I can't even look at you with that beard", and she didn't make any eye contact.
My question to you..
How should one respond to such offensive comments?
Should I respond by action or maybe literally?
Should I consider her comment seriously because she is a girl and she knows about aesthetics more than me.. and listening to her may improve my chances with other girls?
I'll be happy to hear what would you do in a similiar situation?
Thank you in advance,
Mefuzar
Hey brutha, this isnt an answer to your question, but i think this info will help! I had a similar situation where i grew my hair out and a big goatee and the girls at work yous to hassle me to cut it off saying stuff like 'u wont get women looking like that' anyways i eventually cut it off at my own will and straight away i was complemented plenty by the women from work and other girls, on how much better i looked.
Did any of them sleep with or show any sexually interest in me now that i looked more civil and neat, i hear u say? The answer is NO THEY DIDNT!
The point of what im trying to tell you is that your physical looks are not as important as u may think, id say there worth about 30% out of 100% in attracting women. Ive been told multiple times that im a very attractive guy, but im socially and verbally retarded when it comes to seducing women so i dont get many, do you see?
Hope this story helps you out mate, Pie Man !
