Living on a college campus, it annoys the hell out of me when I'm trying to flirt with a girl who's interested in me when all of a sudden 5+ more of her guy friends show up out of nowhere and turn the hunting ground into a musky sausagefest. (not exaggerating unfortunately) Semesters pass, and the amount of times that this has happened to me is embarrassing. I have tried different methods like leading the girl towards a more private place or embarrassing whoever tries to cockblock me to ward them off (whether they intend to or not) but that only does so much.

So yes, my sticking point is the notorious cockblock, but at a scale too large for an AFC like me to handle! Any advice on this?

Look at lions and cheetahs. They hunt herd animals, right? But they don't run right into the middle of the herd and start bitting zebras. They wait on the wings and look for a prime opportunity when one of the animals gets separated from the herd. Or they create the separation themselves by scaring away the other animals and isolating the one they want. Now apply that anaology to pick up.
