I just had a pretty bad game day yesterday. I think I opened 1 day game set and 5 club sets, I found that I could not build any rapport with my targets which sucked.

The day game (it was night but on the street), I approached the target with my friend and told her she was cute and I had to meet her (Simple Pickup opener). She told me her name and just said she was tired and such down after that so I just gave her a small compliment and left.

In the club, I sat down with a drink and opened a girl texting on her phone. She told me she had a boyfriend she was waiting for but I just ignored and talked to her until the boyfriend actually arrived. I just stayed and talked with him a little and then returned to my friends. I then got approached by one girl and we talked for a bit. I asked her about one of her interests and she then "left to find her friend." I met up with her later and chatted with her friend while my friend talked with her. I didnt really find her attractive so I left to get a drink with my friend. These two sets were not too bad since I actually got responses and could converse with the targets.

One of the guys I met got us a VIP table so I was about to go down when I passed two girls. I invited them down saying we got a table but they said they were going to leave soon. I soon found out this was a lie since they came down later so my friend opened them to play a game on this touch computer on the wall. I joined in later but could not really talk with them and they left again (not sure what they were trying to do). They just chilled later so I just ignored them.

My last set I went back to the original room and saw a girl with her friend. She was wearing really big glass frames (fashion statement) so I went up, told her I liked her glasses and tried to talk. I got a name so I then asked her what was unique/interesting about her to build rapport but go no response and a back turn. I was gonna go home soon anyway so I just gave up and hung out with my friends and others that I built a friendship with and just had fun at the club until it was time to go.

TL;DR
I opened a couple of sets and could not build much rapport after and Im not sure what Im doing wrong. I don't really preselect since I try to target girls Im interested in or wing my friend (I do the approach for my friend to work on killing my AA). I think my opener is not too bad since although I initially show interest, my follow up question is a your cute but what else sort of question to convey that her looks arn't enough. My energy levels and vocal expression were pretty good since I could covey what I wanted to my targets without repeating myself although to be fair, I don't really have a mPUA to actually see what Im doing wrong. Any advice?
