Personally, I'm very good as a conversationalist, however in order to pull off a natural and interesting talk I put myself into this particular mind frame. Basically I tell myself that I have no chance and that I'm not interested in this girl, even though initially I am. I then get to comfortable in my mind frame and I begin to rationalize away why I shouldn't go any further or anything. To me, this is my own other way to prove to her that don't give a shit about her and that I am not desperate. I suppose that as an AFC I have a hard time understanding how to not look desperate and escalate at the time.

Also I get to comfortable with not doing anything. This problem is hard to break out of because if I get comfortable, I'm no longer attracted to the girl. Its weird and I don't understand it, but as soon as I leave I hate myself to death and she becomes super hot again. What advice do you have for A) not getting stuck in this mindset B) escalating without seeming desperate. I assume its ok show that you're interested in her at some point. What point would that be?
